This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I don't know what it is but we had an early start to winter and now it seems that is flowing on into an early start to our spring here in the southern hemisphere. The temperatures in the last couple of days have been around 10degrees higher than normal for this time of year. The spring flowers are out the blossom trees are blooming and the lambs in the paddock next door a playing. Of course there could still be a "lamb killing" storm rip through yet with it still being August and it does happen from time to time unfortuantly. The lambs next door should be fine however as its usually the newborn that don't cope with the icy blasts from Antartica.
Been doing more work
Maybe it is the weather as well that is motivating me but I have done some more work recently. Uploaded these below just yesterday and am doing some drawing at home at the moment as well. These paintings have been done with thrick acrylic on card and I have been exploring alternatives to using a paint brush with these. The inital layer has been done with a paint brush but I have used both ends of the brush and then once that is dry and all nice and textured I have used a roller and old tooth brushes. I must say it is rather nice to loosen up a bit. I have been getting my students to do this as well as a good number of them freak out at doing anything that is expressive and they don't know how to start.
My favourite of these 3 is the last one.

I can't put in a direct link to my gallery there sorry. DeviantART seems to put an emoticon right in the middle of the url which renders it useless. If you wanted to do a search for my gallery there then I'm registered under the nicname Belles.
